The title of this page in particular seems rather ironic, seeing that I am an L&Der through and through. So, what's this about? Well I'm pretty sure I'm going to set up a website proper. The purpose being to promote L&D using the interwebs as best as I can. I'm not doing this for profit, nor as a business. In a similar way to www.businessballs.com, I want to provide - for free - a complete range of information relating to L&D for the benefit of everyone and anyone interested. This blog is fine for thoughts, but it doesn't allow for full interaction on so many levels.
So I'm championing L&D. I don't think, nor believe L&Ders themselves are taking themselves seriously enough. I don't think 'we' think collectively enough. Often, 'we' are a single entity or a team of people. But 'we' are not a collective force. There is no-one in the UK who truly champions L&D. I'm not saying I'm going to be the one to do this, I'm saying I will use the interwebs as a platform for promoting L&D to and for L&Ders. There's a business model in there for sure, but I'm not interested in that.
